How do I reset my password?

From the Sign In screen, click the "Forgot Password?" link to access the Reset Password form.

Once on the Forgot Password page, enter in the email address for the account you would like to reset the password for. If a matching email address is found, an email will be sent to that email address with instructions for completing the reset of your password.

How do I check the stock status of an item before placing an order?

Simply look at the "Availability" field under the "Add to Cart" button on any product page.

Will I be charged for preorders at checkout?

Upon checkout, preorders and backorder amounts are initially processed as a pending charge that will disappear from your card within a few business days. You will be charged in full once your items arrive in stock and ship. Please note: Due to PayPal policies, we only offer PayPal as a payment option when an entire order is in stock and ready to ship.


What is the difference between an Original Master Recording stripe and a Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab stripe on the covers and labels of Mobile Fidelity releases?

Mobile Fidelity uses the original master tapes whenever they are available — and verifiable. Original Master Recording stripes on the packaging indicate the original master tapes were used and authenticated for that title. Occasionally, all of the original master tapes are not available and/or Mobile Fidelity engineers cannot determine with absolute certainty they have the original tape. For those rarer events, Mobile Fidelity employs a Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab stripe on the packaging.


Will Mobile Fidelity SACDs play on my CD player?

Yes, Mobile Fidelity SACDs have a hybrid layer and will play on all disc players.


Does Mobile Fidelity provide replacements or exchanges for LPs purchase from other retailers?

Please work directly with the authorized seller from which you purchased your Mobile Fidelity item(s) to get a replacement, exchange, or refund. We do not offer options for items that are not purchased directly from our website.


What is your policy for international orders duty fees?

The buyer is responsible for any and all duty fees. We will not alter the order value for duty purposes.


What are my shipping options?

Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab offers a variety of shipping options. The two lowest-cost options — USPS (Media Mail) and USPS (USPS Ground Advantage) — can take up to four weeks to arrive. If you want your package sooner, please select an expedited option.
